Stouffville hosting electronic recycling event

Do you have old electronics hanging around your house that you want to get rid of? Now is your chance.

The town is hosting an electronic recycling event at town hall Oct. 3.

Residents are invited to drop off unwanted electronics for recycling at the Whitchurch-Stouffville Municipal Office, 111 Sandiford Dr.

Items will be accepted in the South parking lot from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Electronics that are accepted include:

• Computers

• Cartridges

• Laptops

• Digital cameras

• Keyboard and mouse

• Cell phones

• Computer monitors

• Fax machines

• Printers

• Televisions

• Audio equipment
