Haunted Hollows Scream Park

Address: 18444 Yonge St., East Gwillimbury

Hours: Fridays and Saturdays, 7 to 10 p.m., until Oct. 31

Pre-registration is required and masks are mandatory.

There’s something creepy around every corner from Frankenstein’s Lab and haunted butcher shop to the frightful Legends of Horror and terrifying zombie cemetery.

Halloween Night of Lights

Address: Improve Canada, 7250 Keele St., Vaughan

Hours: Thursdays to Sundays, until Nov. 1

Night of Lights is a family-friendly event featuring more than 700,000 LED lights animated and synchronized to classic Halloween tunes. Preregister for the lit drive-thru experience that is about two kilometres in length and lasts about 30 minutes.

York Region Zombie Hunt

Hours: Everyday until Oct. 31

Families can sign up to participate in various spooky and scary zombie challenges held throughout York Region.

Challenges include filling an ambulance with food, taking pictures with zombie pets and tutorials for zombie hair day. The Zombie Hunt is in support of St. John’s Ambulance.

Haunted Greenhouse

Address: Town of Aurora Joint Operations Centre (JOC), 229 Industrial Pkwy. North, Aurora

Hours: Oct. 24, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30, 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Pre-registration is required for two spooky, family-friendly greenhouse tours. There is also a third greenhouse tour for those wanting a good scare. End the evening walking along the spooky trail.

Spooky Nights at Brooks Farms

Address: 122 Ashworth Rd., Mount Albert

Hours: Oct. 23, 24, 29 and 30, 5 to 8 p.m.

Preregister for Spooky Nights and a spooktacular time at the farm, including a wagon ride through the spooky sugar bush, haunted corn maze and zombie photos. Bring your own flashlight and come in costume.
