Hwy. 27 between Rutherford and Martin Grove roads in Vaughan is going to be closed from Friday, Oct. 16 at 9 p.m. to Monday, Oct. 19 at 5 a.m, due to construction.
So, here are the facts:
The Regional Municipality of York is implementing this temporary weekend closure in order to continue work on Hwy. 27 and the Canadian Pacific Rail Bridge.
Improvements are being made to the roadway and the Canadian Pacific Rail Bridge on Hwy. 27. The Canadian Pacific Rail Bridge is in need of replacement.
Additional road improvements are also required to accommodate future growth and development in the area.
To allow for preparation at the work site, one southbound lane on Hwy. 27 will be closed from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 16. All lanes will be temporarily closed as of Friday, Oct. 16 at 9 p.m. to Monday, Oct. 19 at 5 a.m.
