Construction on the Roselena Trail bridge started Aug. 31 and is expected to last two weeks.

JUST THE FACTS:

• The Roselena Trail bridge is located between Roselena Drive and Main Street in Schomberg.

• The old bridge has been removed and a new bridge is being constructed.

• The old bridge had been patched several times over the years.

• A storm earlier this year caused damage to the old bridge and it was determined that it had to be replaced.

• The new bridge will be built with a steel sub frame on helical piles, which will last several years.
• The cost of constructing the new bridge is unknown as it was an unplanned repair.
