Motorists who regularly travel the already busy stretch of Major Mackenzie Drive past Vaughan City Hall in Maple should be prepared for more traffic delays.
JUST THE FACTS
- Starting Sept. 21, construction crews will be working to widen the south side of Major Mackenzie Drive to create a westbound left-turn lane and an eastbound right-turn lane into the city hall parking lot.
- In addition, the entrance to the lot is being widened, new traffic signals will be installed, a landscaped boulevard will be installed on the south side of the road and the existing sewer system will be upgraded.
