Town of Newmarket flags at half-mast for former PM John Turner

Flags are flying at half-mast at all Town of Newmarket facilities to honour the memory of former Prime Minister, John Turner. Newmarket joins other Canadian communities in offering our deepest condolences to the family and friends of John Turner.

John Turner served as the 17th Prime Minister of Canada from June 30 to Sept. 17, 1984.

Flags will fly at half-mast until further notice.
