York Region announced they are set to install new traffic signal at the Aurora Road and McCowan Road intersection this fall.

JUST THE FACTS

• A study showed traffic signals will benefit the intersection by managing increasing traffic volumes and by reducing delays.

• Work is scheduled to begin mid-September and is anticipated to be completed by November 2020.

• The intersection will remain open to traffic and access will be maintained, however, temporary lane closures will be required between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. for construction.
