Napa Valley Park is getting a facelift that will likely please local basketball and tennis enthusiasts.

JUST THE FACTS:

• Park improvements include new basketball court surfaces to both half courts.

• A new tennis court surface and surrounding fence are also being added.

• The estimated completion date is the end of October, weather permitting.

• The Napa Valley Park project, including the tennis court and basketball courts reconstruction, costs $230,000.

The large park, at 80 Napa Valley Ave., next to Elder's Mills Pubic School, also features playground equipment, a gazebo, baseball diamond and soccer field.
