As businesses gradually reopen and students are prepared to go back to school, Richmond Hill is set to resume a number of parking restrictions that have been suspended during COVID-19.
Starting Sept. 8 all parking regulations will be back in effect in school zones, including Monday to Friday restrictions on stopping, parking and standing within 500 metres of schools.
Overnight parking from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. is not permitted on city streets unless a temporary parking permit is obtained.
Permits can be purchased online at https://parking.richmondhill.ca.
There is a three-hour maximum for on-street parking.
Residents can review the parking rules online at RichmondHill.ca/Parking.
