Want to help spruce up Sheppard’s Bush?
The Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority and Aurora Ontario Heritage and Tourism are organizing a clean-up day Aug. 29.
Residents are invited to help by attending the orientation at 9:30 a.m., followed by the clean-up from 10 a.m. to noon.
Volunteers should wear safe footwear and bring gloves if possible.
Physical distancing will be observed during the event.
Sheppard’s Bush, on Industry Street, is 65 acres of forested land, hiking trails, soccer fields, a maple sugar hut and the Sheppard family home.
