Longing to hear the sweet sounds of live music again. Check out these concerts operating with limited capacity. Remember masks are required, space is limited and pre-registration a must.

Hotel California -- East Gwillimbury

In support of Sandgate Women’s Shelter in Georgina, the special physical distancing performance of this Eagle’s tribute band is being held at Stardust Drive-In Theatre Aug. 29 at 3 p.m., gates open at 2 p.m.

Metallica -- East Gwillimbury

Off the beaten path: five places to unplug, enjoy a hike in York Region
Metallica is the first rock back featured in the Encore Drive-in Nights concert series. The one-night-only event is the band’s first show of 2020. Catch the band, along with Three Days Grace, in action at Stardust Drive-In Theatre Aug. 29 at 9:30 p.m.

Music at the Sharon Temple -- East Gwillimbury

East Gwillimbury hosts Music at the Sharon Temple series Sept. 1 at 7 p.m. featuring the Fab Four, a Beatles tribute band. The grounds will be fenced off and marked with physical distancing spaces. Don’t forget your lawn chair and blanket.

Music at the Drive-in -- East Gwillimbury

Enjoy a concert before the show. Special musical performance by county music star Elyse Saunders Aug. 25 at 7 p.m. at Stardust Drive-in Theatre. Space is limited to 450 cars and general admission rates apply.

Concerts in the Park -- Aurora

Aurora’s summer tradition continues with Classic Lightfoot Live, a Gordon Lightfoot tribute performance by John Stinson. The last performance of the summer is Sept. 2, 7 p.m. at Town Park. Concerts are also livestreamed.
