Michelle Obama’s memoir among top 10 most borrowed books at Vaughan libraries

No surprise that 'Harry Potter' is topping the list since children aren't in school

Books -- digital, audio or physical -- borrowed from Vaughan Public Libraries are mostly novels. However, former U.S. first lady Michelle Obama’s memoir, "Becoming," made it in the list of the top 10 list for most loaned.

So here is the list of the most popular digital books borrowed since VPL’s closure on March 13, with "Harry Potter" topping the list.

1. "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" by J.K. Rowling -- ebook

2. "Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone" by J.K. Rowling -- digital audio book

3. "Talking to Strangers: What We Should Know about the People We Don't Know" by Malcom Gladwell -- digital audio book

4. "Funny, You Don't Look Autistic: A Comedian's Guide to Life on the Spectrum" by Michael McCreary

5. "Big Nate: What Could Possibly Go Wrong?" by Lincoln Pierce (a middle-grade graphic novel)

6. "Becoming" by Michelle Obama

7. "Where the Crawdads Sing" by Delia Owens

8. "Dog Man," Dog Man Series, Book 1 by Dav Pilkey (very popular author of "Captain Underpants" books)

9. "The Silent Patient" by Alex Michaelides

10. "The Wives: A Novel" by Tarryn Fisher
