Axe throwing has resumed in Vaughan.

Bad Axe Throwing (Vaughan) reopened its doors Friday, July 24.

Let the axe throwing begin!

“I’m ecstatic to go back,” said coach Steven Cornelsen.

He says he is extra careful about following COVID-19 guidelines because his father is at-risk.

Masks are mandatory at the reopened location and customers must sanitize frequently, Cornelsen said.

Bad Axe now monitors how many people they allow per cage, he said, pointing out that people can’t share a cage like they did pre-COVID.

But Bad Axe remains a place to let loose, Cornelsen said.

“We’re looking to help people have fun, help shake off some of people’s stress. We’re all about safety.”
