While splash pads are open, public beaches remain closed until further notice.
As more and more amenities open, residents are reminded to be cautious and continue to take precautions -- physical distancing, keeping gatherings to 10 people or less and practicing proper hand hygiene.
"We are moving forward cautiously," Mayor Margaret Quirk said. "We all have a role to play, and we can only open amenities if everyone continues to follow and adhere to the advice of public health officials."
Residents are also urged to take extra caution, as high touchpoints are not cleaned frequently, and to keep visits short to ensure everyone has a chance to play.
