Splish, splash! King Township opens splash pads as COVID-19 restrictions ease

3 township splash pads reopen in King City, Nobleton and Schomberg

Just in time for the summer heat, kids in King Township now have another fun way to cool off.

The township has announced three of its splash pads are now open.

The three splash pads are: Memorial Park in King City at 25 Doctors Lane; Tasca Park in Nobleton at 49 Parkheights Trail; and Hickstead Park in Schomberg at 21 Summit Ridge.

York Region has seen nearly 3,000 cases of coronavirus. There have been 240 deaths. King has had 43 confirmed cases and three deaths, according to York Region Public Health.

The township is reminding users to practice physical distancing and good hygiene.
