GO transit users on the Stouffville line will be hopping on a bus rather than taking the train for weekend and midday trips.
Buses are replacing all weekend and all weekday midday trains beginning June 20, until further notice.
Metrolinx said the decision was based on a "better use of resources" while ridership continues to be low as a result of COVID-19.
Some maintenance and infrastructure work may also be done during this time.
Transit users are advised to plan ahead and give themselves extra time since the bus schedules will be different than the regularly scheduled train times.
In addition, buses will not stop at the Kennedy, Agincourt or Milliken GO stations, but riders can take the TTC and use triplinx.ca to help plan their trip.
PRESTO pass holders are being asked to tap on the device when boarding and exiting the GO bus and not at the machines at the station.
