Can you read cursive handwriting?

Do you have extra time on your hands?

The Aurora Museum and Archive could use your virtual help.

The archive has hundreds of “intriguing” letters dating back to the mid-1800s that it wants to share with residents.

But before the letters can be made available online, they have to be transcribed.

Volunteers will be sent scanned versions of the letters to be transcribed virtually from the comfort of their homes.

The project is called #MuseumFromHome.
