Section of King Road to be closed 24 hours starting April 17

Motorists planning to use King Road this weekend may want to seek alternative routes.
According to the Regional Municipality of York, the stretch of roadway from Weston Road to Hwy. 400 in King Township will be closed for a 24-hour period for as crews complete a culvert replacement.
The road will be closed from April 17 at 7 p.m. to April 18 at 7 p.m.
The timeline for completion of the work may be impacted by weather conditions.
Local traffic will access within the closed section.
Motorists are encouraged to use adjacent regional roads during the closure.
