Are you bored? Do you feel the lack of stimulation is creeping in? If you want to entertain yourself reading fiction or learning a new concept, then help yourself by digitally accessing books and material via Vaughan Public Libraries.
While Vaughan's public libraries are closed, residents can still access a wealth of free digital resources including audio and ebooks, databases, movies and online learning courses.
These resources can be found and accessed with a VPL library card. However, if you do not have a VPL library card, don’t fret as you can obtain a card number for temporary use by visiting www.vaughanpl.info/services/membership and clicking on ‘Apply Now’. This will deliver a temporary digital library card number to the email address provided in the application form.
In addition, VPL will also be running free programming for all ages on its social media platforms. Whether you are looking for ways to keep children occupied and engaged through storytime, STEAM and French activities, or if you are an adult looking for a book clubs and recommendations on online resources, VPL has something for you. Access more information and links to this programming by signing up for the VPL email newsletter, or by following VPL social media accounts.
