Georgina cancels all spring recreation, culture programs due to coronavirus

Full refunds will be issued for user fees

The town of Georgina has cancelled all spring recreation and culture programs, in support of the efforts of public health and Ontario to break the chain of transmission of COVID-19.

The town announced the cancellation of all spring recreation and culture programs March 26 and added that anyone affected by the cancelled programs and third-party rentals will be contacted directly.

The town will be issuing full refunds of all user fees that have been charged. Also, all memberships have been put on hold and the length of the membership will be extended.
