Family Literacy Day Party!

The Bathurst Clark Resource Library celebrated Family Literacy Day in style on January 26th. This family event was a real party featuring a sing-a-long with Kathy Reid-Naiman, a special storytime event and the chance to sit down and create some beautiful artwork to take home and display, probably on the fridge! Of course, in keeping with the celebration of literacy, kids of all ages were also encouraged to find a favourite book (or two or three!) to take home and enjoy. Attendees with tickets also left with a free VPL tote bag, hopefully full of the many books they had chosen, and the artwork they created. What better way to celebrate Family Literacy Day than with a party at the Library!
