Menorah Lighting Ceremony at Garnet Williams CC

Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua and Members of Council invited the public to join together with the City of Vaughan at a Menorah Lighting Ceremony on December 29th. In celebration of Chanukah, the special event took place at Garnet A. Williams Community Centre and also featured music, free family-friendly activities and treats for everyone. The ceremony began at 4:00pm and was a wonderful opportunity for local families and friends to join together with MPP Gila Martow, MP Francesco Sobara, Councillor Alan Shefman & Rabbi Yona Shur in celebration.
