City of Vaughan Menorah Lighting Ceremony

The City proudly hosted the City of Vaughan's Menorah Lighting Ceremony in celebration of Chanukah on December 23rd, 2019. The well attended event saw Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua and Members of Council participating along with many members of the community. Speaking during the lighting Rabbi Bakshi. Also taking part was a children's choir who lent their voices to the celebration, honouring attendees with song. Complimentary treats were enjoyed by all who stopped by to take part in this significant ceremony as the sun shone brightly in the background, seeming to lend its own light to this special lighting of the Menorah.
