Have an idea as to how the historical Mulock home can be used?

The town is hosting a community visioning workshop for the heritage Mulock Farm.

Residents are welcome to share ideas and visions for what the property should become.

The 11.6 acre property, purchased in 2018, includes a vast open greenspace as well as the historic home of the Mulock family, perched at the northwest corner of Yonge Street and Mulock Drive.

The town plans to preserve the heritage home as well as establish an iconic community park and outdoor space where recreation, culture, heritage and conservation collide.

The public visioning workshop is Feb. 5, 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Old Town Hall, 460 Botsford St., with an open house at 6:30 p.m., followed by a facilitated workshop at 7 p.m.

Residents can also share their ideas for the Mulock Farm property during the town's Winterfest, Feb. 15, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Riverwalk Commons.
