Could you spend 7 hours spinning? That's what happened at the 7th Annual Spinning for Autism event that took place January 19th at the Al Palladini Community Centre in Woodbridge. A number of brave men and women came together to support the Shining Through Centre for Children with Autism by committing to spending pretty much the whole day on a spin cycle! The Shining Through Centre is a place where children with autism can shine, supported by programs that seek to provide an optimal learning environment for children with autism. They are a registered charitable organization that provides therapy, education, research and awareness. Learn more about them at shiningthrough.ca. Organizers of the spin event thank all who came out to "spin for a cause" and are grateful for all the support they received including from these wonderful sponsors: Forest Group, VP Protection Inc, LPI Mechanical Inc, Fazzari & Partners, Rycom, Torcan ICI Roofing Inc, Precise Parklink National and Mattamy Homes.
