“Luxury” Condo Development Overlooking Golf Course Coming to Thornhill

If you find you spend most of your weekends hunting down your next golf course, you may want to consider relocating to Thornhill, as a new two-building condominium development is set to rise along the eastern edge of the Ladies’ Golf Club of Toronto.

Developed by Tridel and designed by Kirkor Architects, Royal Bayview will be comprised of two luxury mid-rise residential buildings that will stand 12 and 14-storeys, offering residents unparalleled views of the golf course. (It should be noted that the buildings are not associated with the course.)

Surrounded by mature trees and natural green space, Royal Bayview is located just off Bayview Ave and Royal Orchard Boulevard. The buildings will have space for 167 luxury home-sized residences, including 91 and 77 two and three-bedroom suites, in addition to incredible amenities.

Recently released renderings show a stunning lobby with a dramatic staircase and a seating area, that features luxe marble and stone, while large windows fill the space with natural light.

When residents are tired of golfing (if that’s even possible), they can pop by the gym to exercise, which will feature a mix of equipment including treadmills, stationary bikes, and ellipticals. Or they can cool off in the lavish lap pool.

And as you could imagine, a residence this grand comes with a pretty decent price tag, as units in the development start at $1.2 million.

But, you’ll be steps away from Ladies’ Golf Club of Toronto (yes, men can play too), which is nestled between Yonge Street and Bayview Avenue just north of John Street and bordering Royal Orchard Boulevard.
