If you’re a Newmarket parent looking for something for your kids to do during two days of teachers’ strikes this upcoming week, the town has got a solution for you.
There is a provincewide public elementary school strike on Feb. 11, and rotating strikes will see York Region’s public elementary teachers out of the classroom on Feb. 13.
Here is information about the town’s program and registration:

- Price: Residents: $40, Non-residents: $70
- Ages: Four to 12 years
- Time: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
