List of Georgina roads to be serviced, repaired or reconstructed in 2020

Recently, the town approved its road construction work plan for the coming year and it includes a laundry list of roads that will be getting serviced.

Here is a breakdown of the $956,000 road works plan for 2020:

Asphalt patching: $150,000

• Ravencrest Road;

• Aleah Cr;

• Lockie Road;

• Bethel Sideroad;

• Parkwood Avenue; and

• Degeer Sreet.

Crack Sealing: $50,000

• Biscayne Boulevard;

• Pollock Road;

• Irene Drive;

• Lowndes Avenue;

• Sunnidale Boulevard;

• Weirs Sideroad;

• Civic Centre Road

• Duclos Point Road;

• McCowan Road;

• Burke Street;

• Garret Street;

• West Street, west of High Street;

• Fairpark Lane;

• Queen Street;

• St. James Street; and 

• Joan Stand and adjacent streets.

Road reconstruction -- asphalt: $375,000

• Maple Avenue;

• Irving Drive; and

• Dunkirk Avenue, if funds available.

Road reconstruction -- gravel: $300,000

Gravel roads in Udora, prioritized after a geotechnical investigation.
