10th Annual Women to Women Symposium

On Thursday, November 14th, the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce celebrated their 10th Annual Women to Women Symposium! Over 650 guests from all walks of life gathered together to network with like-minded business women and individuals from our business community. They kicked off the day with a Panel Discussion about “Leading for Inclusion” with Cindy Greenough, EVP & CRO, Global Risk Management at CIBC, Jeff King, CO & CDO at SOCAN, Elio R. Luongo, CEO & Senior Partner at KPMG -- moderated by Mary Farmer, Professor of Organizational Behaviour. Jennifer Valentyne, Host of Global Morning News Toronto sat down with Isabella Bertani, Women’s Leadership Committee Chair of the Vaughan Chamber, and had a great fireside chat and discussed “Taking Back the Power” as women in business. Margaret Trudeau then took the stage with Steve Paikin, Host of TVO’s The Agenda and openly spoke about overcoming her challenges with mental health. The attendees also had a chance to visit almost 50 vendor booths throughout the day to shop and network. This year, they are donating all proceeds from their raffle and silent auction to After Breast Cancer and everyone who purchased raffle tickets received a free cookbook donated by Grazie Vaughan!
