The Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Campaign and enjoyable “Media Challenge” that took place in September, was celebrated recently with a relaxed photo opportunity with local Tim Hortons owners saying a huge thank you to the community. Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua was on hand to help present the cheque for over $85,000, the amount raised through the sale of smile cookies, to benefit Hospice Vaughan. These funds form a part of Hospice Capital funds that Tim Horton’s has pledged toward the kitchen in the New Hospice Vaughan -- Mario and Nick Cortellucci Hospice Palliative Care Centre of Excellence. Thank you to the 56 stores, 15 owners and the community who made this happen.
