Celebrating the Gift of Giving

In the first Annual Gala of its kind, Owner of Fontana Primavera, Phil Aiello, played host to a charitable fundraiser benefitting the Vaughan Food Bank on Friday, November 22nd. Called “Celebrating the Gift of Giving,” Phil commented, “It is wonderful to see the community support this important opportunity to give back,” said Aiello. “Thanks to the generosity of our many sponsors we were able to provide 1959 pricing to our over 1000 guests and provide 100% of the proceeds to the Vaughan Food Bank.” MPP Michael Tibollo was in attendance and a proud supporter as was Premier Doug Ford. The many guests were proudly helping an organization that during this holiday season, points out rather poignantly that “hunger takes no holiday.” The Vaughan Food Bank is completely volunteer run and relies on corporate and private donations and important fundraisers like this one to meet the needs of fellow Vaughan community members. In total, over $10,000 was raised for the food bank and plans “are afoot” to make this a holiday tradition. Stay tuned for news on the Second Annual “Celebrating the Gift of Giving” Gala!
