Peacock Craft and Bake Sale

MPP Michael Tibollo joined the many staff, friends and volunteers of the Elspeth Heyworth Centre for Women (ehcw) at their recent “Peacock Craft and Bake Sale” held on Wednesday, November 13th. The Elspeth Heyworth Centre is a place where “women, seniors and newcomers achieve their full potential” and offers a variety of services to the community. Amongst their many services they provide supports around reducing domestic abuse, continuing education, assisting newcomers, and supporting seniors. Minister Tibollo shared greetings that celebrated EHCW and their community spirit. The event itself was a showcase for numerous lovely homemade items created by local artists and also featured a huge array of tasty treats baked and decorated by talented community members. It was a lovely afternoon, enjoyed by all who shopped, volunteered and worked hard towards making this event a success.
