Newmarket mayor promises every question answered at town hall

The inaugural Town Hall Tonight with Mayor John Taylor promises to be like a fireside chat in which the town’s top political boss will take questions from the audience on any topic, and share information on the municipality’s key priorities, such as the development of the Mulock Estate and budget 2020.

“I am very excited to announce my first annual Town Hall meeting,” Taylor said on his Facebook page. “After a short presentation, I will take questions from the audience on any topic. This annual Town Hall meeting is a part of my ongoing effort to be as accessible as possible, open, and ready to answer any question anyone may have.”

Town Hall Tonight happens on Thursday, Nov. 21 from 6 to 9 p.m. You are invited to attend in-person at the Old Town Hall, 460 Botsford St. or watch the livestream on Facebook here.

The event kicks off at 6 p.m. with a reception, followed by a presentation from Mayor Taylor and a question-and-answer session from 7 to 9 p.m.
