Thanks for Giving - Pet Adoption and Litter Drive

The Maple Pet Valu store, located on Major Mackenzie, was the site of a recent event celebrating the Thanksgiving season with a “Thanks for Giving Pet Adoption and Litter Drive.” Visitors were invited to consider adopting a cat or kitten onsite that day – perhaps bringing home a little something extra special for the Thanksgiving holiday. City of Vaughan Animal Services were there to help support the event and were of course, also the grateful recipients of donations collected throughout the day. Hosted by the new management team at Pet Valu (pictured) it was a wonderful afternoon of giving back and supporting our furry family members who currently reside with Animal Services. Even better – it was a great day to support those taken to their new homes as a direct result of this afternoon of “thanks” giving!
