The Civic Centre Resource Library was a hive of activity during Vaughan’s recent Fan Con Event for kids of all ages. It was the third annual occasion for the always popular event and attendees were treated to workshops, cosplay, guest speakers from the science fiction community, various S.T.E.A.M. activities and so much more. Local artists and authors were also on hand to mingle with guests, answer questions and to encourage the budding talent of the many young visitors. There were gaming opportunities for kids, demonstrations of VR and a chance to shop for all kinds of treasures. Hosted by the Vaughan Public Library (voted one of the 15 coolest libraries in Canada by Chatelaine magazine) Fan Con was well attended and enjoyed by all!
