Vaughan celebrates official opening of the Woodgate Pines Park

The City of Vaughan's newest park, Woodgate Pines Park, has officially been welcomed to the neighbourhood. To officially mark the opening, Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua and Members of Council joined the community for a ribbon-cutting ceremony, entertainment and light refreshments.
Parks are an essential part of the community and provide a place to play, relax and spend time with friends and family. Located at 60 Woodgate Pines Dr., the 1.79-hectare (4.42-acre) park includes a soccer field, junior and senior playgrounds, basketball court, frisbee golf area, a shade structure with seating and a lit pedestrian pathway.
