3 road closures coming in Whitchurch-Stouffville for CN Rail work

Slaters Road, Aurora Road and Vivian Road tracks will be undergoing improvement Oct. 14 to 16

Commuters in York Region might need to find an alternative route later this month.

CN Rail is making improvements to three railway crossings in the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville. To complete the work the following road closures are required.

Slaters Road 500 metres east of Woodbine Avenue closed Monday, Oct. 14.

Aurora Road 1,300 metres east of Woodbine Avenue closed Tuesday, Oct. 15.

Vivian Road, 250 metres east of Kennedy Road closed Wednesday, Oct. 16.

Each of the road closures are scheduled to start at 1 a.m. and finish by 6 p.m.

Detour routes will be in place to guide motorists during the temporary closure.
