WHAT’S GOING ON HERE: Construction at Teston Road and Mosque Gate intersection in Vaughan

York Region also urged people to 'reduce' their speed

A new traffic signal will be installed at this intersection of Teston Road and Mosque Gate in Vaughan, York Region said on its page.

JUST THE FACTS:

• The construction is scheduled to begin in mid October and is expected to be completed by the end of 2019.

• As with all road construction projects, some work may be rescheduled due to weather. York Region will provide advance notice whenever possible.

• The intersection will remain open to traffic during construction and access will be maintained; however, temporary lane closures will be required between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. for construction.

York Region also urged people to “reduce” their speed as “safety is a priority on all regional construction sites.”
