Greenbelt Urban River Valley Open House

The City of Vaughan launched their Urban River Valley project on Saturday September 21 with a family-focused open house with activities such as wildflower planting in a newly constructed trail-side pollinator garden and guided walks along the Humber River that educated participants on the importance of our river valley systems and protected Greenbelt. This project supports the City's trail and park enhancement initiatives and builds on the Great Walks of Vaughan program. Funding for the project was provided by the Greenbelt River Valley Connector Program, a collaborative granting partnership offered by the Greenbelt Foundation and Park People.
