The Rally Together for Vita

The Rally Together for Vita took place on a day where the weather was actually perfect for folks to enjoy a walk, run or roll all in support of a great cause. The fundraiser, now in its third year, is specifically promoted as an inclusive event for all regardless of fitness levels. Participants were able to walk, stroll, run or roll in this years event for a total of 3, 5 or 10kms meaning there was something for everyone! The event was hosted by Vita Community Living Services / Mens Sana Families for Mental Health. The organization, amongst the various services offered, provide support to adults with developmental disabilities who may also be living with a mental health diagnosis. Their mission statement is to provide safety, respect and community through the services they provide and offer a safe place for individuals to live and work. It was an early start to a great day and organizers thank all who participated.
