The Walk for Lupus Ontario Fundraiser

Yadira is an advocate for Lupus Awareness. She has been living with the disease for over 6 years now. It is affecting her kidneys, brain and heart. This year, was her third year involved in the Walk for Lupus Ontario Fundraiser, however, this year Yadira hosted her own walk in Vaughan at the new park North Maple Regional Park. Registration began at 10:00am and their walk started shortly after 12pm. Participants enjoyed some music, raffles, food, some onsite vendors and some fun stuff for the little ones. Afterwards, a few speeches were made and a Butterfly Release was hosted for loved ones. MPP Michael Tibollo was also present for some the day's activities.
