Waves of Changes for Autism 4th Annual Gala breaks fundraising record

Ellen Contardi, President of Waves of Changes for Autism announced a record $320,000 was raised at the 4th Annual Gala, London Calling. Nearly 1,000 members of Vaughan’s business and philanthropic community were in attendance to support this worthy initiative that helps children and their families in Vaughan who are living with autism.
“I am happy to report that within the past year, our organization has made meaningful strides in promoting awareness and raising much-needed funds to help children affected by autism. Since Waves of Changes for Autism was founded in 2016, we have raised more than $900,000 and funded 126 unique applications for Vaughan children and their families,” said Mrs Contardi.
The 2019 Waves of Changes for Autism Gala London Calling featured remarks by award-winning speaker and Waves’ Ambassador, Stefano DeCicco, as well as the singing of the national anthem by Julian Trozzo, Grace Before Meals by Victoria Colmenares and an acoustic performance by Roberto Tanco featuring the music of the Beatles.
Waves of Changes for Autism is grassroots and entirely volunteer-run registered non-profit that provides financial assistance to families with children aged 13 and under living in the City of Vaughan. Founded in 2016, it has provided financial aid for 126 unique application. Registration for 2019 is open until September 30, 2019.
