Georgina is already looking ahead to 2020, with budget deliberations starting next month.

From recreation facilities to waste collection, snow clearing and fire services, have your say on the 2020 budget.

The town is hosting a number of budget chats with the town treasurer, Rob Wheater, for residents to learn more about the budget process.

Residents are also invited to participate in the town’s online budget survey, open now until Sept. 23.

Hard copies of the survey are also available at all three branches of the Georgina Public Library, the Civic Centre and the Link.

Give your two cents during one of the town’s 2020 Budget Chats:

• Sept. 8, 10 a.m. to noon -- Georgina Farmers Market, 20849 Dalton Rd., Sutton

• Sept. 14, 1 to 2 p.m. -- Georgina Public Library, Pefferlaw branch, 6 Pete’s Lane, Pefferlaw

• Sept. 15, 1 to 2 p.m. -- Georgina Public Library, Keswick branch, 90 Wexford Dr., Keswick

• Sept. 22. 1 to 2 p.m. -- Georgina Public Library, Peter Gzowski branch, 5279 Black River Rd., Jackson’s Point

The 2020 draft budget will be presented to council on Oct. 23.
