Future Market and Affordable Rental Apartments in the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville

The Regional Municipality of York is proposing to construct an apartment building with approximately 100 residential units and ground floor non-residential space at 5676 Main Street in the Community of Stouffville.
The building will contain a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom rental apartments for seniors, families, and individuals. The rental building will be owned and operated by York Region’s housing corporation, Housing York Inc.
The Region anticipates submitting an application for municipal planning approval in the Fall of 2019, with construction of the building beginning in 2020.
