Georgina hosting more public input sessions for MURC and Civic Centre projects

Looking for more information on the town’s proposed multi-use recreation complex and the new civic centre?

Georgina is hosting a number of public input sessions for residents to have their say on the new projects.

The town is hosting three separate public input sessions to discuss the MURC project and another session dedicated to the new civic centre.

Residents are encouraged to share concerns and learn more about the projects.

Public input sessions:

• MURC -- Aug. 10, 1 to 4 p.m. at the Town of Georgina booth during the Sutton Fair and Horse Show, Sutton Fairgrounds 3 Fairpark Lane;

• MURC -- Aug. 12, 7 to 9 p.m. at the Pefferlaw Lions Community Hall, 38 Pete’s Lane;

• MURC -- Aug. 13, 7 to 9 p.m. at the Georgina Ice Palace, 90 Wexford Dr.; and

• Civic centre -- Aug. 27, 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at The ROC, 26479 Civic Centre Rd.
