To promote itself as a business-friendly city, Vaughan has launched a podcast listeners can tap into with their Apple, Spotify or SoundCloud accounts.

The host for the Vaughan Rising Podcast isn’t a media star or a business journalist from a big Canadian newspaper, but rather Economic Development Officer Michelle Samson.

The series, released Aug. 6, features 10 episodes, 10 to 15 minutes each, that take a deep dive into Vaughan's most exciting projects with the developers, brokers and business leaders who are shaping the city's skyline.

The first episode of the series features Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua who discusses Vaughan's transformation from a suburban town into a leader in city building.

The podcast is now available for download on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and SoundCloud.
