Jane Street --King Road to Lloydtown-Aurora Road: King Township
Home to a number of residences, this one-lane country road that runs along the wide-open countryside is also a popular truck route, with construction trucks, semis and tractor trailers bypassing the Ministry of Transportation inspection station on Highway 400.
Yonge Street --at Carrville Road/16th Avenue: Richmond Hill
What is an already busy section of Richmond Hill, add to the mix Viva rapid way construction, lane closures and high-density condo buildings within walking distance. That makes this intersection particularly had to navigate for shoppers, side street homeowners and pedestrians.
Bathurst Street --at Yonge Street: East Gwillimbury
On any given Friday night, there is a long line of cars lining up in the centre lane along the Bathurst Street extension to make an awkward left turn on to Yonge Street. If you’re not taking Highway 400, there’s no other northbound alternative. Not to mention drivers who cut across Toll Road only to cut back in again. Expect plenty of honking.
