Are you looking for part-time and seasonal positions at Vaughan community centres for the fall, winter and spring seasons?
If you are, the City of Vaughan is hosting its first-ever job fair on Aug. 24 searching for potential employees that would fit the bill.
The community is being encouraged to come out and see if there’s a job they're interested in. The City of Vaughan’s Recreation Services department is a major youth employer with close to 1,000 part-time staff -- and many of them are students.
When and where: Two community centres -- Vellore Village and North Thornhill -- will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for interested applicants to drop by, apply and be interviewed on-the-spot for a part-time recreation job.
Job openings: Interviews will be conducted in the areas of Fitness, General Programs and Facilities. Information sessions will also be held on Aquatics hiring. Applicants will be hired for the upcoming Fall, Winter and Spring seasons.
Qualifications: Applicants are required to be at least 16 years of age. A resume and three references are encouraged.
