The award-winning annual Canada Day event returned on Monday, July 1, 2019 headlined by duo JUNO award winner and multi-platinum global reggae-pop quartet MAGIC! This year, Canada Day festivities were held at the newly opened North Maple Regional Park, 11085 Keele St. (once completed, North Maple Regional Park will be greater than 900-acres in total) and featured FREE: admission, activities & entertainment, live performances, inflatables, arts & crafts, Vaughan Soccer Club Friendly Tournament & more! There was a Shuttle Bus service available from 1:30-9:00pm that day for guests to use.
This year's fun-filled event did not disappoint for Canada's 152nd Birthday- the sun was shining and guests got to celebrate with family, friends and neighbours. It was a dance party with K.I.D.S. Inc. Dance Studio as they hit the stage and showed the crowd how to break a move! Throughout the day guests heard from Mocha from KISS 92.5, Relic Sons Music, Daniel Monte Music, Delaney Jane and of course, MAGIC! Apart from the live entertainment, those who were brave enough were welcome to try out the event's own zip-line!
With hundreds of smiling faces, Vaughan Celebrates Canada Day 2019 was definitely a huge success. For more information, visit www.vaughan.ca/events/canada_day_celebration/Pages/default.aspx.
