Summer is here and there’s no better time than now to cozy up with a good book. If you’re a Brampton Library card holder you can participate in one of two reading clubs this summer. If you don’t have a library card, there’s no better time than now to join because your love for reading could win you some pretty awesome prizes.

Adult Summer Reading Club

Brampton Library is hosting adult summer reading clubs again this year. Every time you check out paperback books, e-books and audiobooks, between June 3 and September 3, 2019, you earn points. These points earn you chances to win some pretty awesome prizes. Prizes include gift cards for restaurants, gift cards for Bramalea City Centre, a Google Home, an Instant Pot, and more. There’s also a bi-weekly draw with small prizes.

All you have to do is register online and fill out a log with the titles you read and listen to this summer.

Teen Summer Reading Club

Brampton Library also has a little something for teens. Teens can earn points to win weekly and grand prizes by reading, making things, going to Brampton Library events, and exploring the community.

Sign up and collect points to be entered into the weekly prize draw which includes passes to Aerosports Trampoline Park, the CN Tower, Glowzone 360, Top Rock Climbing, Canada’s Wonderland and more.

Teens can also log books they read until September 3 to win big prizes including Apple Airpods, a Fitbit Versa Smartwatch or a FujiFilm Instax Mini 9 camera plus a $100 Presto Card. Each book is worth 10 points. The reader with the most points at the end of the summer will score a $150 Indigo gift card. For more information, click here.

If you’re not a library card holder, you can register for one at any Brampton Library branch.
